Club-record net profit helps Atletico Madrid reduce financial debt

Atletico Madrid managed a club-record net profit in 2018/19, tripling the result from the previous year.
This helped Atletico reduce their financial debt by almost £17 million, with the club expecting to make further repayments in the coming years.
New shirt sponsorship deals helped the club's commercial revenue increase by £12 million.
