Chelsea the only major club with a drop in replica shirt sales

The club has fallen from fifth position to seventh in shirt sales.
Champions League win for Chelsea in 2014 prompted a spike in sales while Premier League titles did the opposite.
Chelsea are the only major club to have seen a fall in official replica shirt sales in recent years, according to latest industry research.
The Stamford Bridge outfit have fallen from fifth to seventh in terms of the biggest sellers of replica shirt sales, with average sales having fallen by an average of 92,500 shirts per year.
According to industry insider Dr Peter Rohlmann and his team at the consulting bureau PR Marketing, Chelsea’s replica shirt sales have fallen from an average of 880,000 a year between 2010-11 and 2013-14, to 787,500 between 2014-15 and 2017-18.
