Barcelona partner with Chinese insurer

The Spanish club have partnered with Taiping Life Insurance in a three-and-a-half-year deal.

As part of a strategy to provide locally adapted content, the two parties will promote a series of online and offline fan engagements through Barcelona's social media platforms in China.

Barcelona have partnered with Chinese insurer Taiping Life Insurance (TLI) in a three-and-a-half-year deal, supporting the Spanish club's global digital strategy of providing locally adapted content to their fans.

The club earlier this month revealed an ambitious new strategy which aims to make their digital business one of their biggest sources of income by adopting a fan-centred approach.
