Barcelona contributed more than €1 billion to the local economy last season

The club's contribution to the city of Barcelona has increased by 31 per cent from the 2014/15 season, according to a report by consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers.

For every job created directly by the club, 12 additional jobs were created for the city.
