The long search for a technical director at Arsenal has finally come to an end. The Spanish transfer-wizard Mochi was previously mentioned as the favourite to take over the job after a short spell at Italian side AS Roma, but the Spaniard opted for a return to his childhood club, Sevilla.

Therefore, the Gunners decided to pursue Eduardo César Daude Gaspar, better known simply as Edu. This time Arsenal succeeded in their hunt and the 40-year-old former Arsenal player, and a member of the Invincibles, has been presented as Arsenal’s new technical director.
