Another private equity fund emerges as bidder for stake in Serie A

Advent International has made an offer for a stake in the Serie A which would value the league at €13 billion.
Bain Capital and CVC Capital have also made bids for stakes in the Italian top flight.
American private equity firm Advent International has made a bid for a stake in the Serie A which would value the league at €13 billion, according to Bloomberg, as a bidding war for the Italian top flight intensifies.
Earlier this month it emerged Bain Capital had made a €3 billion bid for a 25 per cent stake in the Serie A, after CVC Capital last month made a €2 billion bid for a 20 per cent stake.
Bain Capital's bid would value the league at €12 billion, while CVC's bid would value it at €10 billion.
