Media: AC Milan to sack manager after just seven league matches
8 October 2019
Milan's manager, Marco Giampaolo, is to be dismissed by the club following a poor start to the season.
A little more than a year ago, Milan were acquired by an American investment firm, which changed the club's management.
AC Milan are set to sack their manager, Marco Giampaolo, following the club's poor start to the Serie A campaign, the Daily Mail reports.
So far, Milan have lost four of their seven league matches under Giampaolo, who was hired just this summer, placing the club 13th in the league standings.
According to Gazetta Dello Sports, Milan are considering Stefano Piolo and Luciano Spalletti, both with a history at fierce Milan rivals, Inter, to replace the 52-year-old.
AC Milan are yet to make an official statement on the reports.
