AC Milan executive on their content strategy: "Our goal is to become an entertainment company"

Serie A club have launched The Studios: Milan Media House, a self-owned media hub designed to give more control over content.

It is part of a broader strategy to digitise the club, initiated by owners Elliott in 2018.

AC Milan expect the studios to help grow their social media following and collect fan data, while offering enhanced digital assets to attract sponsors.

In past 14 months the club have launched on four new platforms including TikTok and Twitch.

AC Milan are making a multi-million-euro bet on content under a strategy to drive fan engagement and unlock extra value for sponsors.

The Serie A club last month launched The Studios: Milan Media House, a self-owned media hub designed to give more control over production and distribution of content. Within the club's Casa Milan headquarters, the studios offer more than 1,000 square metres of space featuring high-end technology including 4K camera and LCD-LED displays. A team of 40 production and creative professionals will be employed, including part-time positions.
