Sky Italia has offered to air Juventus versus Inter for free after the coronavirus has caused authorities to determine that six of the upcoming weekend's Serie A matches must be played behind closed doors.

The virus has claimed 12 victims across the country and infected more than 400 people, according to Reuters, sending markets into a downward spiral.

As a result of the outbreak, analysts are forecasting that the Italian economy will shrink in the first quarter, meaning Italy will face its fourth recession since 2008.
