Powerful Championship clubs at war with EFL over Sky deal
Getty Images | Around half of clubs in the Championship are on a collision course with the EFL regarding the broadcasting deal that was signed almost a year ago.
At least 11 of the biggest Championship clubs are considering their next move against the EFL after disagreements in relation to the disappointing broadcasting deal made last November.
The EFL is a "broken organisation not fit for purpose," says one club chairman - while a representative from another club said he felt they were "at war" with the EFL.
The clubs, who have had several meetings to discuss what to do, are questioning the legal authority of the deal.
The EFL believes it has been transparent regarding the making of the deal and feels the organisation is moving forward towards better decision-making and communication with its members.
