Unsurprisingly, the London club spent considerably more on agent fees compared to Newcastle, with an outlay of €29.8 million compared to €10.3 million.

Despite a considerably larger stadium, Newcastle's matchday income stood at just €28.2 million while Chelsea's reached €75.6 million.
