Wolves put stadium expansion on hold
Getty Images | Wolves have put their plans to transform Molineux into a 50,000-seater on hold due to the extent of the project.
The reduced stadium capacity and consequent loss of matchday revenue caused by knocking down the Steve Bull Stand would be too great, according to the Athletic.
Wolves had planned to transform Molineux into a stadium of around 50,000 seats, but they are now considering the addition of another temporary stand as an alternative.
