The winners and losers of the summer transfer market

Last week wrapped up this year’s summer transfer window which could be characterised by the high-market value deals completed through loans or free transfers.

However, some leagues certainly did manage to offload players within profitable deals, and we have taken a closer look at the leagues and clubs with the most successful window.

Surprisingly, Barcelona and Real Madrid were among the clubs with the best transfer balance this summer. In addition, PSG spent half that of Arsenal, but gained almost double in terms of the market value of those acquisitions.
