The last six years La Liga in Spain has grown rapidly after the appointment of a new CEO. The staff alone today is 10 times higher than in 2013. And they are opening offices all over the world.

However there is one big difference between La Liga and Premier League. And that difference will still be there – no matter how much effort La Liga puts into global sale activities.

In 2013 La Liga were facing a number of issues which certainly did not further enhance the otherwise bright entertaining impression of Spanish football and its tiki-taka´esque style. While the top clubs of the league kept on celebrating triumphs in the European club competitions, Spanish clubs were as unorganized off the pitch as they were organized on the pitch.
