Europe Ranking: Which clubs paid out most to agents in 2019?

Agents are generally frowned upon within the football industry and accused of disturbing the relationship between players and clubs. We have taken a closer look at the highest fees paid by clubs in the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 in 2019.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham each paid intermediaries approximately the same amount as the profit they generated from player sales in 2019.
Although Tottenham and Arsenal both had agent fees of €13 million, it seems Tottenham paid the higher premium. Arsenal's total transfer spending amounted to €112 million, while Tottenham's came to less than a quarter of that - just €25 million.
Sunderland AFC paid more than €3 million to agents in 2019, which exceeds the coming season's wage cap of approximately €2.8 million, recently implemented for League One.
