The Premier League 2020/21 is upon us and we thought it could be interesting to take a look at the clubs' profit and loss account.

Big spenders Chelsea and Man City have accumulated a combined loss of £1.4 billion, all incurred under the tenures of their respective owners, Roman Abramovich and Sheikh Mansour.

And, to some surprise, Aston Villa and Fulham occupy third and fourth place, respectively, on the list of Premier League clubs with the biggest accumulated losses.

When we turn our attention to the league's most profitable, two London clubs are at the top.
