West Ham management supports Pellegrini despite seven-game run without a win
22 November 2019
West Ham's joint chairmen have reaffirmed their full support of the club's manager, Manuel Pellegrini, in a statement.
The support comes at a time when Pellegrini is under fire as West Ham have not won a game since September.
The joint chairmen of West Ham, David Sullivan and David Gold, have deemed it necessary to issue a statement to the club's fans prior to Saturday's match against Tottenham.
"We know that the recent performances and results have not been good enough," the chairmen wrote.
Following a seven-game run without a win in any competitions, club insiders have described the situation at West Ham as a "nightmare," according to the BBC, with confidence among the defenders "shattered."
West Ham's last victory was against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 22nd September.
