West Ham United have announced a partnership with the blockchain-based fan engagement platform, Socios.com. The platform is a mobile app for football fans, where fans - by buying cryptocurrency tokens - acquire the ability to vote on selected club decisions.

The club will seek the input and opinion of fans by running selected polls on the mobile app, with the tokens offering the opportunity for supporters to vote and have their voices heard. The app will be available to fans at the start of the 2019/20 season.
