The club's co-owners, David Sullivan and David Gold, complained after guests on the Sunday Supplement programme questioned their financial stewardship, according to the Daily Mail.

West Ham lost £28.2 million last season and lie above the relegation zone on goal difference alone.

West Ham's co-owners have sent a legal letter to Sky Sports complaining about coverage on the Sunday Supplement programme, according to the Daily Mail, after guests questioned the pair's financial stewardship of the club.

After heavy investment in the playing squad, West Ham lost £28.2 million last year, the club's financial accounts revealed earlier this week, while their wages rose 27 per cent and amortisation increased by 40 per cent.
