A company controlled by Chelsea FC owner Clearlake Capital operated a platform offering Premier League tickets to UK customers for several times their face value, according to a report from The Times. The platform, Events365, charged a commission on sales.
Clearlake owns Victory Live, a US-based company that provides online infrastructure for ticket resale platforms. Victory Live also owns Events365, which sells tickets for sports and entertainment events.
