Watford have announced a sleeve deal with Bitcoin, as revealed by offthepitch.com a month ago.

The sponsorship will be crowd-funded, allowing contributors to get a share of the sponsor's perks at matchdays.

Watford have finally confirmed their new sleeve deal with Bitcoin, a deal we at offthepitch.com revealed almost a month ago. According to our sources, the deal is worth £1 million.

The Bitcoin logo (₿) will appear on the shirtsleeve of the club for the rest of the current season. The logo is part of a wider campaign to improve awareness and educate the public on the benefits of using cryptocurrencies, writes the club in a statement.
