Bolton players have yet to be paid their wages from March and are worried April’s wages will be late as well.

Incoming owner Laurence Bassini has promised to clear up the financial mess the club finds itself in, but the takeover has not been ratified by the EFL yet.

The Supporters’ Trust fears Bassini is not fully aware of the level of debt involved.

Bolton Wanderers’ players are still awaiting news regarding their overdue wages from March. It is understood that no money had reached the players’ accounts by close of business Wednesday, but the club’s incoming owner, Laurence Bassini, is looking to personally contact senior members of the squad to inform them of his short-term plans, according to The Bolton News.

Bassini’s takeover is yet to be ratified by the EFL, worrying players and staff that they will not get paid April’s salaries, which are due on Tuesday.
