Another significant investment has been made into Aston Villa by their generous owners as part of their strategy to solidify the club permanently in the top flight. 

Billionaires Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, who took over the club in August last year, have injected £57 million into the Birmingham club via a share issue, a filing at Companies House reveals.
