VfL Bochum 1848 clinch partnership deal with Off The Pitch

VfL Bochum 1848 have signed a partnership agreement with Off The Pitch, making it the club's Official Football Finance Intelligence Partner.

As a part of the deal, the Bundesliga outfit have now gained unlimited access to Off The Pitch’s intelligence platform, which includes financial and operational data on over 240 European clubs on 120 different metrics across multiple seasons - as well as data on club takeovers and historic player transfers.

On top of that, VfL Bochum 1848 will also benefit from a transfer valuation tool launched this spring. 

“The business of football has become as important as the performances on the pitch. Off The Pitch is the number 1 inside-information provider in this field, because they understand and know the business scene, which is rare in football,” says the German side’s Managing Director Ilja Kaenzig.

“The link-up will help VfL Bochum 1848 benchmark many aspects of the club’s business performance”, he says.

For Off The Pitch, the deal marks a milestone in the company’s mission to give football clubs access to a host of data that will help them take better decisions in a highly-competitive environment.
