The $500 million investment in City Football Group Limited, made by American private equity firm Silver Lake, values the company at £3.7 billion.

Based on the corresponding valuation multiples by revenue and ebitda, Off The Pitch has listed the value of 16 Premier League clubs.

It is difficult to find the exact value of a football club as there are many different methods to use in search of the most precise valuation. Nonetheless, Off The Pitch has used two of the most common methods.

It should be noted that the valuations are based on the multiple that Silver Lake was willing to pay in the Man City deal. That multiple would most likely be very different in the valuation of other clubs - especially when looking at the ebitda multiple.

Due to the fact that only 16 of the current EPL clubs have published annual accounts with Premier League income we have only included those clubs below.
