UEFA releases €236.5 million to support member associations
PA Images | "Our sport is facing an unprecedented challenge brought about by the COVID-19 crisis. UEFA wants to help its members to respond in ways that are appropriate to their specific circumstances," UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin said in the statement.
The funds will be made available through the governing body's HatTrick programme.
The fee amounts to up to €4.3 million per association.
