UEFA saw a huge sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency company Crypto.com fall through at the last moment earlier this summer, SportBusiness has reported.
It is understood the value of the proposed agreement was in the region of €100 million per season, with the crypto brand lined up as a replacement for Gazprom, which had been paying about €40 million per season for its Champions League rights.
