FIFA earned about €4.5 billion from ticket and hospitality sales at the 2026 World Cup, according to a report fom The Times.
The figure was more than five times the €834 million earned at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. It also exceeded FIFA’s budgeted estimate of €2.7 billion and contributed to total World Cup revenue of €13.5 billion.
The 2026 tournament had 40 more matches than Qatar, with 104 games instead of 64.
