Plans to extend charity's reach include closer co-operation with 306 official Liverpool supporters' clubs around the world.

Club close to revealing opponents of Legends match in 2020, which has raised £1 million a year over the last four years.

The Liverpool Foundation's director, Matt Parish, arrived at the charity in March - just as it was preparing to host AC Milan in a sell-out Legends match at Anfield.

He recalls: "My first job was to pick up Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti off the train. I didn't take the family Skoda for that one! It was a real eye-opener day for me, as there were tens of thousands of fans coming into the city for the game.
