Sunderland appoint new club secretary
The League One club have appointed Ray Murphy as their new club secretary after the departure of Brett Baker. Murphy, the former club secretary at Swindon Town, previously worked with Sunderland owner Steward Donald at Eastleigh, whom Donald sold in order to buy Sunderland. Baker, on the other hand, departed to become club secretary at Brighton.
