Gerrard would love to see the Scottish league filter into the English leagues.

Will the Glasgow clubs, Celtic and Rangers, ever play in the Premier League?

The question has been asked numerous times, with Rangers' coach, Steven Gerrard, being the latest to chip in.

According to the Liverpool legend, it would be "incredible" if the clubs played in the Premier League.

"I would love the Scottish league to filter into the English leagues, all of them, to save and help the Scottish game," Gerrard told Jamie Carragher on the Greatest Game podcast, adding that people from England don't realise how big the Glasgow clubs are.
