Leading football clubs will meet Friday to discuss proposed changes to UEFA's club competitions from 2024 that could represent a drastic transformation to the Champions League and Europa League.

UEFA is pressing the European Club Association (ECA), who represents more than 200 teams, to approve the plans in opposition to the alternative $6 billion JPMorgan-backed proposal of a breakaway "Super League."
