The Portuguese with an impressive points average returns to management 11 months after he was relieved of his duties at Manchester United.

José Mourinho has won an impressive 25 major honours during his managerial career, but the stats show he usually doesn't stick around for too long.

Compared to now jobless Mauricio Pochettino, Mourinho has on average paid £5 million more in transfer fees per player than the Argentinian.

Tottenham have hired José Mourinho to take over from Mauricio Pochettino in hopes that the Portuguese will bring his recipe for trophies to the London club, but the stats show Mourinho's tenure might be short-lived.

Mourinho has spent on average 1.96 years at each of the eight clubs he has coached, with his longest spell being his first at Chelsea, lasting 184 matches across four seasons.

His second-longest spell was at Real Madrid, which was also his most successful in terms of points, achieving an average of 2.3 for each of 178 matches.
