Another British consortium has already been reported to be interested in buying the club.
Takeover talks surrounding Bristol Rovers are ongoing with the former Palermo chairman, Clive Richardson, forming part of the latest consortium to express interest in buying the club - rivalling a separate UK-based consortium also ready to buy the club, if it can purchase the Bristol Fruit Market site in St Philip's Marsh for a new stadium, reports Bristol Live.
