Radrizzani has narrowed more than 20 potential investors down to three - who could allow the club to "compete with Manchester City"
Getty Images | Leeds have posted losses in five of the last seven fiscal years, with Radrizzani stating it is impossible not to in the Championship. On top of the difficult conditions, the club's wage bill is a significant expense, as Bielsa's staff costs £6 million alone. "It’s financially not sustainable to keep this level of salary which is now over £30 million, probably £33 million with Marcelo and closer to £40 million with the coaches," said Radrizzani.
Leeds' owner, Andrea Radrizzani, is ready to sell a stake in the club and has been approached by more than 20 potential investors.
Radrizzani has narrowed the group down to three, with his good friend Nasser Al-Khelaifi being one of the favourites.
The Italian believes that Al-Khelaifi and Qatar Sports Investments could allow the club to compete with Manchester City.
