Profile: Daniel Levy - North London’s quiet man and his empty field of dreams
31 August 2020

Amazon’s new ten-part Tottenham documentary should have been a victory roll for the club’s chairman. Instead Daniel Levy finds himself centre stage as the club face the unprecedented Covid crisis.
In "All or Nothing" the famously private Levy presents a more affable face than the hardnosed caricature people assume of him.
Levy says that perceptions of him are unfair. ‘I’m incredibly ambitious to improve the team. My critics just don’t know how hard it is to get to that place.’
‘It’s become a massive club – there’s more than 600 employees – but he wants to know what’s going on in every aspect of the business,’ a former employee tells offthepitch.com
For so long in public football’s quiet man, Daniel Levy is in unusually expansive form as the new ten part documentary on Tottenham Hotspur, All or Nothing, kicks off.
Diminutive, physically fit, head shaved to the bone, his tie removed and top button undone; he is the first interviewee in this new fly on the wall series, the opening three episodes which dropped on Amazon Prime on Monday.
