Media: Premier League has replaced headhunting agency in search for new CEO

The Premier League has intensified its search for a new CEO by replacing the agency hired to find candidates.

The Premier League has abandoned its deal to let headhunting firm Spencer Stuart find a replacement for Richard Scudamore - who served as CEO for nearly 20 years but departed at the end of 2018. 

According to The Telegraph, the new recruiter is the rival firm Russell Reynolds, who now will lead the lengthy search to find a new chief executive.
