Palace pushes to start redevelopment of Selhurst Park despite rumours club is up for sale

Photo: Getty Images Even though the club’s American owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer apparently have held talks about selling Crystal Palace they are pushing on to expand the capacity of Selhurst Park.

Club is working to get permission to expand capacity at Selhurst Park in a £100 million redevelopment.

 Palace’s two American owners have reportedly held talks about selling their stakes.

Crystal Palace are pushing on to expand the capacity of Selhurst Park to 34,000 from 26,000, even though there is uncertainty over the club’s ownership, according to the Evening Standard. 

The London club have been given the thumbs up in principle, but are still in negotiations with Croydon Council over the terms, and London Mayor Sadiq Khan also needs to give his final approval before final permission is granted.
