Only one candidate on election ballot for the UEFA Executive Committee

Photo: Getty Images Rainer Koch, vice president of the DFB, is the only candidate for the position of UEFA Executive Committee member. He will replace his former colleague Reinhard Grindel, who resigned from the position in April.

The candidate is to replace Reinhard Grindel, who resigned from the committee last spring.

An election will be held at the Ordinary UEFA Congress in March.

Just a single candidate presented himself by the deadline for the position of UEFA Executive Committee member, for which an election will be held at the Ordinary UEFA Congress in March.

The lone candidate, who will be elected for a one-year term, is the German Rainer Koch, vice president of the DFB, the German equivalent of the FA.

Rainer Koch was unanimously elected by DFB's supreme executive body to supersede Reinhard Grindel on the committee.
