New TV deal gave profit turnaround of nearly 700 per cent

Tottenham and Liverpool are beating world records, while other Premier League clubs are struggling to record pre-tax profits despite the immediate effect of a new broadcasting deal. 

From 2016, the deal helped Premier League clubs turn their fortunes around with a sudden boost in combined pre-tax profits just shy of 700 percent after two years of falling profits.
