New Kick It Out chief seeks talks with critical clubs

“Football is a sprawling, extended and sometimes dysfunctional family. We need to collaborate more,” he says.

Says he is keen to talk to people who are “damning and critical". He will participate in 150 meetings the next 3 months.

Sanjay Bhandari, the new head of Kick It Out, has declared an intention to meet with football clubs that are critical of the anti-discrimination organisation.

It follows criticism of Kick It Out’s methods from some quarters, including a Premier League club which recently told offthepitch.com it had broken off contact with the charity.
