José Mourinho will reportedly not have any funds available to spend on new players in January at his new club.

As big repayments have to be made on the club's new stadium, the club will go without any new signings for a third transfer window in just two years.

Tottenham's new head coach, José Mourinho, has reportedly been told that there is no money for an overhaul of the squad in January.

This will be the third transfer window in two years during which Tottenham won't spend any money on new signings.

According to the Guardian, Mourinho has joined Tottenham well aware of the club's financial realities, which include big repayments on the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Instead, Mourinho said that he is looking forward to working with the club's current squad and academy players.
