Media: Former Swansea chairman launches Charlton Athletic bid

Huw Jenkins, who served as chairman of the Welsh club for 17 years, has confirmed his interest in buying the club for £1 million.
Charlton have been subject to a controversial power struggle in recent months and owner Tahnoon Nimer is now looking to sell.
Former Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has launched a £1 million bid to take over Charlton Athletic, according to the Daily Mail, providing a potential exit-path for their wantaway owner, Tahnoon Nimer.
Nimer, who officially took over the club in January, has recently signalled a wish to sell the club after a controversial fallout with two of the club's directors, Matt Southall and Jonathan Heller, who have since been removed from the board.
