The EFL would need 66,000 coronavirus tests to be carried out on players and staff in order to finish the campaign.

Clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two have been told there is a real possibility of the current season not being completed, according to the Daily Mail, due to the extensive testing necessary in order to reconvene safely. 

Leagues across Europe are currently debating whether and how to complete the season's outstanding matches, but as cases rise so does the potential for a prolonged spell without football.
