Match of the Week Conference League: Financial head-to-head Leicester City v PSV

Leicester are one of the favourites to win the inaugural edition of the UEFA Conference League, which would be the club’s first ever European trophy. The next obstacle on the road is PSV Eindhoven.

Domestically, PSV are in a tight battle with fierce rivals Ajax for both the league title and the KNVB Cup, and the Dutch club is heading into some exciting final months of the season. 

There is a substantial financial gap between the two clubs, as highlighted by last season’s €185 million difference in turnover in favour of Leicester. 

While the two clubs have been close in terms matchday and commercial income for the last four seasons, PSV have notably lacked behind in terms of broadcasting revenue.
