Match of the Week Eredivisie: Financial head-to-head PSV v Ajax

Last season Ajax lifted the Eredivisie trophy in style as they were 16 points clear ahead of runners-up, PSV.

PSV and Ajax have been dominating the Eredivisie for centuries by winning the title a combined 18 times since 2000, with PSV having the upper hand by winning it 10 times. 

The rivalry between PSV and Ajax is known as De Topper and is one of the biggest rivalries in the Netherlands. 

This Sunday, the two top teams in the Eredivisie goes head-to-head in a game that sees the winner take the number one spot in the Dutch top flight.
