Manchester City renew deal with global recruitment company until 2023

Manchester City have renewed their global partnership with the Hays recruitment company for a further four years.
The new agreement also involves Hays becoming sponsor for the team’s overseas tours.
The global recruitment company Hays will remain the official recruitment partner of Manchester City, retaining a designation it has held since 2013.
As part of the prolonged partnership, which now continues at least until 2013, Hays and City will work together to curate new digital and social content for the club’s global audiences. In addition, the new agreement also makes Hays the official sponsor for the team’s overseas tours.
“Throughout our partnership, Hays has been fundamental in helping Manchester City find great people to help our organisation grow and support our teams’ achievements,” said Damian Willoughby, senior vice president of partnerships at City Football Group, which owns Manchester City.
Since becoming City’s official recruitment partner six years ago, Hays has helped City recruit for roles across their legal, HR, commercial, marketing, and communications teams.
In that time, the company has also extended the relationship to include City’s women’s side, while it is also a sponsor of US outfit New York City FC and Japanese team Yokohama F Marinos FC, both of whom are also part of City Football Group.
Hays was founded in 1867 and has its headquarters in London. In 2018, income was approximately £5.7 billion and the global company has over 10,000 employees.
