Man City hit back at UEFA over possible one-year Champions League ban

In a strongly worded statement Manchester City FC have now responded to The New York Times story that the club face at least one season’s exclusion from the Champions League if found guilty by UEFA investigators of misleading the football governing body’s financial regulators.

Rather than going after The New York Times, the club are pointing towards UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body Investigatory Chamber (CFCB IC), where they now fear they will not be given fair treatment.
