Major boost to commercial income: Dortmund to have alternating shirt sponsors from next season

Starting next season, and for the first time in the club's history, Dortmund will have both a domestic and an international shirt sponsor.

The club's current shirt sponsor, Evonik, will continue to be on Dortmund's shirts for international cup competitions, while the company 1&1 will join as shirt sponsor for their Bundesliga matches.

The two deals are reported to be worth double the value of Dortmund's current deal.
