Mainz 05 extend partnership with local draught brewer

The German club have extended their partnership with Bitburger by a further two years.

In addition to holding the serving rights at the club's Opel Arena, the brewer also has a series of marketing rights.

German club Mainz 05 have extended their partnership with local draught brewery Bitburger, in place since 2013, for a further two years.

The brewery, based in Bitburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, holds the exclusive serving rights at Mainz 05's Opel Arena and also has a series of marketing rights with the club.

"Regional solidarity, sustainability and supra-regional standards are important components of the daily activities of both partners," said the club's director of marketing and sales, Dr Michael Welling.
